The OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI)  and its partners at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation are excited to convene innovators from around the world for a conference on Innovation in Government: The New Normal on 20-21 November 2017. The conference will highlight insights from OPSI’s work with countries that are transforming their operations and improving the lives of their people through innovation. It will bring together government leaders, public servants, and innovative partners in industry and civil society to connect, share experiences, and collaborate.

Silverio Zebral Filho se desempeña como Jefe de la Unidad de Innovación Gubernamental y Coordinador Acadêmico de la Escuela de Gobierno de la OEA. Es profesor adjunto de la The George Washington University (GSPM/GWU) y pesquisador associado ao The Ostrom Workshop of Political Theory and Policy Analysis de la Indiana University en Bloomington. Desde 2004 actua como como consultor y gerente de programas para las instituciones internacionales de desarrollo (PNUD, BID, AECID, EU) y fundaciones políticas internacionales (IRI, KAS ODCA, DDC). Ha liderado mas de 60 misiones técnicas y políticas en apoyo de varios gobiernos en América Latina y el Caribe sobre gobernanza democrática, innovación gubernamental y fortalecimiento del sector público. Economista y politólogo, Zebral Filho tiene una maestría en Estudios de Desarrollo del The Graduate Institute Geneva (Ginebra, Suiza) y estudia un Doctorado en Economía Política Internacional en la John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
