Through research and conversations with innovators from around the world, OPSI has identified partnering with other sectors as a challenge in governments’ efforts to advance their innovation agendas.  As identified in OPSI’s Embracing Innovation report (oe.cd/eig), government cannot create maximum public value on its own and should forge partnerships with all relevant players. Government, industry, and civil society each have unique strengths and competencies, and the biggest innovation successes occur when they come together. This session will explore how governments can work in collaboration with other sectors for innovation initiatives and the powerful benefits that can result.
